Camp Oštro is named after the wooded peninsula on which it is located, and the symbol of the camp has no lighthouse, but the Royal Palace's favorite "lantern", a beautiful building on the very tip of Oštra from 1872. Since the camp was in place, the forest in which it was located remained the same, but the camp, after many years of stoppage, completely changed. During 2010 and 2011, the camp has been completely redesigned, with new, fully equipped camping units, sanitary nodes and installations and a more comfortable reception, waiting for old and new guests. The camp can accommodate up to 894 people, or 298 campsites. Apart from the camp, the apartments are also apartments Oštro, 20 houses with two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen for those who like nature, but prefer a solid roof over their heads.
The camp size and equipment are ready to accommodate 894 people. Most of it is parceled, has enough electricity and water connections. Most camp units are shaded during the day. The camp site is divided into three zones, zones A, B and C, with zone A closest to the sea and up to zone C, 50 meters from the sea, above the main roadway. The camp also has solid facilities; 20 apartments for four persons. Each apartment has upstairs two bedrooms, while on the ground floor there is a bathroom and a kitchen with a small covered terrace.
