In the place Rukavac in the Opatija hinterland Stancija Kovačići is situated, an idyllic oasis of peace, gastronomy and pleasure.

The foundations of our creative gastronomy are based on olive oil, truffles, Istrian smoked ham, Traditional cheese from Grobnik, and always fresh and seasonal food.


The chef of the kitchen Vinko Frlan leads you to a three-day adventure through your Chef's world.

Day 1 – arrival in the afternoon, cappuccino or hot tea with a fireplace, accommodation in double rooms and a traditional dinner.

Day 2 – rich breakfast and go to the market with chef's cuisine in the supply of groceries. Cooking course for about 3 hours:

  • baking homemade bread
  • preparing homemade pasta
  • preparing homemade manestra or seasonal cream soups
  • preparation of beef goulash
  • homemade fritule

Shared lunch. In the evening, a light traditional seasonal dinner.

Day 3 – rich breakfast.


Package price 3 days per person is 1340 kn per person.

Package price 2 days per person (dinner, overnight and course) is 920 kn per person.

The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 8 to 10 people.
